Typical applications for compact PU are Sealings, damping elements, automotive trim parts, paints and coatings, interior components.
The chemical reactions that take place and thus the properties of the PU are highly dependent on the processing and the boundary conditions during component manufacture. Depending on the material system, compact PU can cure in a few seconds.
Compact PU is usually defined by the processing properties of the starting components, the curing kinetics of the system and the mechanical properties of the resulting PUR.
