The simulation of processes and products to reduce practical tests and to optimise materials, processes and products is one of the major topics in the entire plastics industry. Various material models already exist to map reactions, heat transfers or filling processes. However, the determination of robust and realistic material data in order to obtain reasonable simulation results is still problematic. With cellEQ® equipment, realistic values can be determined for the first time, which can be used directly in simulations.


CellEQ currently focuses on the determination of shrinkage data and derived characteristic values for reaction kinetics. The vision, however, is to implement complete analysis systems that directly record all relevant data in an automated analysis.


For the development of further analysis techniques besides dilatometers (e.g. in the fields of rheology or calorimetry) already developed components can be used and adapted.
